Jeff Graceffo - Manchester City 3 - QPR 1

Unlike their initial two games, Manchester City left no doubt as to who is the best team in the league. They thoroughly dominated QPR from the opening whistle.  Yaya Toure sent them ahead 1-0 in the first half.  After QPR tied it in the second half it only took a few minutes before City went ahead for good off of a Edin Dzeko header.

City was a joy to watch. They played the game the way it is meant to be played.  They were brilliant.  Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko were awesome. In particular, Dzeko was very impressive.  He was constantly in the middle of the action, making his presence felt.  Joe Hart was solid in net. Tevez is once again the destructive force that he was back in the 2010-11 campaign.  The absence of Sergio Aguerro provided him with an opportunity and he seized it.

However, City's back four gave up several scoring opportunities that QPR should've capitalized on. They need to get stronger in the back for when they play teams at the top of the table.
